Fat transfer breast augmentation consists of three main steps. Prior to the procedure a special device is used to prepare the breast to accept the fat. The next step involves removing the fat and tissue from the donor site using liposuction techniques. You will be placed under general anesthesia while Dr. Landsman makes small, strategically placed incisions in the donor areas. The fat cells will be removed using a tiny cannula and then purified. Once harvested, the fat cells will be grafted into the space between the skin and the breast capsule surrounding the breast and/or between the breast and chest wall.
