The number of injections and amount of Xeomin required depends on the severity of the wrinkles. Generally, treatment is quick and can be completed in under an hour. Little to no downtime is required after treatment, and patients can resume their normal activities almost immediately. For these reasons, many people consider Xeomin a “lunchtime” procedure and can easily fit the appointments into their lunch break.
One drawback of Xeomin is that it may take a few days to see the full results, and the results are temporary. On average, Xeomin results last about four months. To maintain the effects of Xeomin, patients should expect to schedule Xeomin treatments every few months.
However, patients like Brinkley consider this a small price to pay for smoother, firmer and more youthful-looking skin.
