How Neurotoxins Turn Back the Clock on Aging
Derived from botulinum toxin type A, Botox, Dysport and Xeomin work by blocking nerve signals that cause facial muscles to contract. Temporarily stopping the muscles from contracting allows the overlying skin to smooth out and wrinkles and lines to fade.
